True Sufism should not allow of misogyny or patriarchy. In this world we are born equally human though in different  bodies and circumstances and now in the 21st Century we must strive to become equal again. This means shedding a lot of cultural and familial and social muck that we and sufism have acquired. Freedom is too great a word for nothing left to lose! We must have something to aspire towards with our new found freedom. Wildness is at the root of our sexuality and civilisation at the head of our social manners but our hearts are tender and need warming in the hearth of our collabarative efforts. How can love survive this winter of our discontent?
